uShip is an online shipping marketplace that connects people needing to move large, bulky items (like cars, furniture, or freight) with independent carriers and transport companies. Operating like an eBay for logistics, users list what they need moved, and carriers compete for the business.
The company hired our time machine for a commercial featuring a father and daughter (who happens to love Back to the Future). They’ve purchased a DeLorean Time Machine, but it’s over 1000 miles away! uShip comes to the rescue and the temporal displacement vehicle is delivered to their door. Shot in one day in suburban Austin, Texas, we were able to accomodate the shoot with everything they needed and more — including the car’s owner portraying the part of Shipper Dude.
